"After COVID hit, I became really passionate about finding ways to help lift others spirits during such a tough time.
It started with with what I called, "Food Hugs"-- dropping off food to my neighbors, or to someone who was down, feeding frontline workers, and that blossomed into Tip Back Thursday!
We want to keep this positivity going because anyone in their life could at some point could need a Food Hug.

As a female chef, even in 2010, people didn't want to give me a chance. I had 23 years of experience and local restaurants would turn me away. So another part of Food Hugs will be an annual scholarship for a female who wants to be a chef/owner some day."

About
Here at Food Hugs, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. This is done through crowd funding and the generous hearts of amazing local people.

The concept is simple, we feed frontline workers, people who have suddenly lost a loved one, or anyone in need of a pick-me-up.
Making a difference, one Food Hug at a time.
Feeding the frontline
We love feeding our frontline workers, especially after the year and a half that we have all had! Please contact us if you have a special someone, or office, that you'd like to spoil with a Food Hug.
